Who’s Responsible Under POPIA
Moving your data to the cloud doesn’t hand over your legal responsibility for it. Under POPIA, your business stays responsible for how personal information is handled, regardless of where the servers actually sit — so it matters that you understand what your hosting provider is responsible for and what stays with you.
